Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo stated that his primary objective, after winning La Liga last season, is to win a big trophy with Real Madrid.
At the annual Marca Awards gala, where Ronaldo was presented the Alfredo Di Stefano trophy, which recognizes the best player of the season, the Portuguese star felt honoured to receive the award.
“It’s an honour to receive this award from the hands of Alfredo Di Stéfano and I would like to thank everybody.”
Ronaldo then stated that his next goal is to give the fans a big trophy, such as the club’s 10th Champions League title.
“There’s still a long way to go. We’re in the cup final. We’ve taken a big step forward in the Champions League. The league is a tough one, but we’ll fight to the end. On a personal level, things are going well, but what I want is to achieve Madrid’s objectives, which involve winning a big trophy.”
